Al Salma Group is a private holding for trading and investment established in 1996 with a capital of about US$4 million. Al Salma Petroleum is a leading dsitributor of fuel and lubricants in Sudan with a value of US$5 million. Our sister company, Nomoly Company was established in 1992 and is also engaged in transportation, storage and distribution of petroleum products in South State in Sudan.
We have recently bought a reservoir near Khartoum refinery (Algaily) with a capacity of 4,660 cu. m. We also have a permit from the Ministry of Energy to have a regular amount of petroleum products from Khartoum, Port Sudan and Obeid refineries to market them in North and South states of Sudan.
We own about 66 per cent of the shares of Errawyan Excavation and Irrigation Company (about US$25 millions). We own a large land transportation company (more than 400 trucks) of very good wills named salka with a value of about US$16 millions.

BUSINESS MODEL Our preferred business model on which our branded network is being developed is Company Control and Company Operation of a planned network of high ATPS prime sited retailing sites that afford us control of the integrated sales margin to facilitate easier deployment of modern site operations and business management techniques among others. It is intended that not less than 50% of the branded network would be company-operated outlets, 30% would be dealer-owned and operated and the remainder 20% would be company owned but dealer operated. The proposed network profile to be realized within the next 5 years is set out below. Complimentarily, it is worthy of note to highlight our growth forecast that our industry market share will appreciate from the current 2% to more than 4% within the 5-year time span.
